Vermont

This weekend I went to Vermont and did some lovely things like poked around Smuggler’s Notch and investigated Emily’s Bridge.

I also drank lavender mead which is super sweet and tastes like you’re getting drunk off of a garden. It’s like you’re swallowing the essence of all the warm colors, pollen and sunshine.
I’m a pretty big fan as you can tell.

If you are ever in Stowe I advise you to go to The Dutch Pancake (they do GF toast for you Silly Celiacs like me!)
I also advise popping over to Waterbury to imbibe at The Blackback Pub. The owners are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about beer culture and the atmosphere is quintessentially Vermont.
